Creativity New Deal: America’s Creative Economy Evolution
The Creativity New Deal (CND) is a bold vision for America’s future. A CND builds and shapes America’s creativity skills infrastructure for the next century, enabled by AI and other modern tools.
The CND is grounded in three evolutions already underway:
(1) Reframing creative industries as infrastructure. (2) Cultivating creativity skills at the heart of organizations. (3) Evolving the role of cities and innovation districts.
Main points discussed: (1) The creative industries are a key driver of economic growth and social wellbeing. (2) The shift from viewing the creative industries as standalone sectors to recognizing them as fertile grounds for cultivating critical future-of-work skills.(3) By investing in our creativity infrastructure, we can reclaim a legacy of wonder, create new jobs, boost economic growth, and improve the lives of all Americans.

When Hurt Gets in the Way of Hope
The emergence of this new entrepreneurial archetype—grounded in creativity, contemplation, and cultural foresight—promises a future where businesses are not just financial ventures but catalysts for societal transformation. We stand on the cusp of redefining the nature of entrepreneurship, steering it toward a landscape where innovation harmonizes with human flourishing.
Getting there, however, requires something more evolved than is currently offered in our training and development systems. It requires entrepreneurial development to be a Venn diagram of training as creatives, contemplatives, and culture futurists.
These are not generalities. These are active skill sets to intentionally mold, infusing our entrepreneurial spirit with a renewed sense of wonder driven by the integration of arts, science, and business. Herein lies our path to expansive human potential.
